LGCM Team Building Event 2026 | Building A Stronger Construction Machinery Manufacturer

Established in 1998, LGCM is a professional construction machinery manufacturer providing wheel loaders, mini excavators, forklifts and other equipment to global markets. From July 31 to August 1, 2026, LGCM organized a two-day team building activity at Laoshan Yangkou Outdoor Training Base in Qingdao, Shandong Province, China.

Through a series of challenging outdoor activities and team cooperation projects, employees improved communication, strengthened trust and experienced the importance of teamwork.

Touching Stones Across the River (Team Cooperation Challenge): Improving Team Collaboration and Crisis Response

The "Touching Stones Across the River" activity was designed as an ice-breaking challenge to help employees quickly build communication and trust within the team.

During the activity, each team had only five wooden boards as platforms. All team members needed to stand on the boards and move forward together by continuously transferring the last board to the front of the team.

During the activity, unexpected situations were introduced, such as reducing the number of available boards. These sudden changes tested the team's ability to respond quickly, reorganize resources and adjust strategies under pressure.

 

Through this challenge, employees experienced the importance of:

The activity demonstrated that when facing uncertain situations, a united team with strong communication and coordination can overcome challenges and achieve success together.

 

The "High Altitude Broken Bridge" activity was designed to challenge employees' courage, psychological strength and ability to overcome personal limitations.

During the challenge, participants needed to stand on a high platform and complete a jump across the broken bridge. Although the distance was not large, the psychological challenge required participants to overcome fear and build confidence.

With encouragement and support from teammates, employees stepped beyond their comfort zones and completed the challenge.

The "Heart-Pounding Drum Challenge" was a team cooperation activity designed to test communication, coordination and collective execution ability.

During the challenge, all team members needed to work together by controlling a large drum through ropes connected around the drum. The goal was to keep the ball bouncing continuously on the drum surface without falling to the ground.

Although the task seemed simple, successful completion required every participant to maintain the same rhythm, control the direction of the drum and adjust movements according to the ball's position.

 

Through continuous practice and cooperation, the team gradually found the best way to work together and successfully completed the challenge.

This activity demonstrated that:

The "Heart-Pounding Drum Challenge" allowed LGCM employees to experience the power of teamwork and understand that strong collaboration is the foundation for achieving greater results.

 

After a full day of challenging activities, LGCM employees enjoyed an outdoor barbecue, campfire party and fireworks celebration together.

The evening activities created a relaxed environment where employees could communicate beyond daily work, share experiences and strengthen relationships with colleagues.

Through enjoying food, conversations and memorable moments together, team members developed deeper connections and a stronger sense of belonging.
